12 Tips for a Successful Bridal Dress Fitting
1. Prepare consciously for your bridal dress fitting
Preparing for your bridal dress fitting is essential, as the first appointment is especially important for both the bride and the bridal salon. We recommend scheduling your fitting in advance and coordinating with the person who will accompany you on this special occasion.

If you already have a clear idea and would like to try on up to three selected bridal gowns, the fitting is free of charge.

If you prefer a more comprehensive, experience-based fitting—where you can try on several different styles and silhouettes with the professional guidance of our stylists—the fitting fee is 10,000 HUF.
This amount is fully deductible from the reservation fee or purchase price of your wedding dress.

Should you wish to take more time to decide, Elite Salon issues a gift voucher for the paid amount, which can be fully redeemed within one year.

Our goal is to ensure that choosing your bridal gown is not only successful, but also a truly joyful and memorable experience.

2. Bring 1–2 companions only
One or two trusted companions are more than enough—your mother, sister, close friend, or in rare cases, your fiancé. Too many opinions can be overwhelming.

3. Allow enough time for the fitting
Make sure you have sufficient time for your bridal fitting. Choosing the right dress also means considering whether it suits your wedding venue and overall style.
At Elite Salon, we dedicate 1.5–2 hours to each bridal fitting.

4. Arrive on time
Please arrive punctually for your appointment. If for any reason you are unable to attend, kindly notify the salon in advance so we can offer the time slot to another bride.

5. Minimal or no makeup
We recommend attending your fitting without makeup or with very minimal makeup—and no lipstick, as it may stain the dresses.

6. Bring your wedding shoes
Bring the high-heeled shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day to ensure the dress length and proportions are perfectly adjusted.

7. Wear appropriate lingerie
It is advisable to bring nude or white underwear and a strapless bra to achieve the most accurate look when trying on dresses.
