Bridal Fitting Experience at Elite Bridal Salon Budapest – A Premium Guide for Brides

After the engagement and once the wedding date is set, the next most important task is choosing the bride’s wedding gown.

Elite Bridal Salon Budapest welcomes brides with an exclusive, carefully curated collection, where every guest enjoys a personalised VIP fitting experience. The fitting fee is complimentary for the first three bridal gowns; beyond this, a fee of 10 000 HUF applies, which is fully credited toward the rental price or, in case of purchase, deducted from the final sale price.

At Elite Szalon, a bridal fitting is far more than a service — it is an elegant, attentive experience where every bride receives the level of care and quality her special day deserves.

If a decision is not made immediately after the fitting, that is perfectly fine. The fitting fee is provided as a gift card, valid until 31 December 2026, and can be used toward the purchase or rental of a wedding gown, as well as bridal accessories.

We do not serve macarons or champagne during the fitting — instead, we dedicate our full attention to the bride, ensuring she finds the wedding gown she has always dreamed of.

Fittings for maternity gowns and ball gowns remain complimentary.

 
The Steps of a Bridal Fitting
1. Booking an Appointment
Bridal fittings can be scheduled by calling +36 20 986 3390. A typical fitting lasts between one and one and a half hours, so it is worth keeping this in mind when booking.

2. Arrival and Consultation

3. The Fitting Suite
A spacious, comfortable fitting room awaits each bride. Inside, bridal shoes, a bridal robe and an elegantly designed beauty corner ensure a refined and relaxing experience.

4. Trying on the Gowns
With every gown tried on, our consultants introduce the fabric composition, the designer, the model name and the brand. Naturally, pricing is also discussed.

The bride can share whether the silhouette feels right, what she prefers, and what she likes less. We present matching accessories — veils, hairpieces and more — so she can see a complete, harmonious look. With prior agreement, photos may also be taken of the gowns she tries on.

5. The Role of the Bride’s Companions
The feedback of the bride’s guests is also important. Their impressions help our consultants understand the bride’s taste and personality even more precisely.

6. Finding “The One”
The fitting continues until we find the perfect gown for the big day. If the ideal dress does not appear immediately, we recommend alternative silhouettes or styles based on the bride’s preferences. Often, the “salon’s recommendation” becomes the winning gown — the dress the bride may not have initially considered, yet turns out to be the dream gown she never imagined.

This is possible because our consultants, with decades of experience, understand how different silhouettes complement different body types. They essentially create a mental body‑shape analysis, adding real value to the fitting experience.

 
Finalising the Chosen Gown
Once the perfect gown is selected, a contract is prepared. This document includes the model number, size, price, the wedding date and the date of the final fitting — the day dedicated to fine adjustments and final tailoring.

The contract is prepared in two copies: one for the bride and one for the salon.

At the time of signing, a 50% deposit is required, which is always credited toward the rental or purchase price. After choosing the gown, the bride receives a glass of champagne and a complimentary issue of Esküvő Classic magazine to support her continued wedding planning.
