The Bridal Gown Rental Process at ELITE Bridal Salon
After setting the wedding date and choosing the venue, the next major milestone is selecting the wedding gown. This is the moment when many brides truly begin to feel that their big day is approaching.

At Elite Bridal Salon Budapest, we proudly support brides on this journey with more than two decades of experience. When a bride walks through our doors, our consultants can often sense her approximate size, body shape and even her style direction — but this is only the beginning.

We believe that the bridal fitting should be a discovery. We encourage brides to try on several gowns, even in different styles and colours. With each gown, we learn more about what resonates and what doesn’t. The fitting continues until we find the dress that fulfils every expectation — the true dream gown.

 
Bridal Fitting at Elite – Complimentary and Credit‑Based
The fitting fee at Elite Bridal Salon is designed to be flexible and supportive:

The first three bridal gowns are complimentary to try.
From the fourth gown onward, the fitting fee is 10 000 HUF, which is:

fully credited toward the rental or purchase price of the gown,
or returned as a gift card, allowing the bride to decide later with complete peace of mind.
The gift card is valid until 31 December 2026 and can be used toward gown rental, gown purchase or bridal accessories.

At Elite, the fitting is not simply a service — it is an elegant, attentive experience where every bride receives the care and quality her wedding day deserves.

Reserving the Chosen Gown
Once the perfect gown has been found, it should be reserved as soon as possible. Reservation means signing a rental agreement between the bride and the salon.

The contract includes:

the wedding date,
the pick‑up and return dates,
the date of the pre‑wedding fitting for measurements,
the selected accessories,
the rental fee,
the deposit paid,
and the general terms and conditions.
The deposit is 50% of the rental fee, payable by cash or card. The remaining balance is due at the final fitting, when measurements and fine adjustments are completed.

Collecting and Returning the Gown
The finished gown is usually collected the day before the wedding, though for weddings held far from Budapest, earlier pick‑up — even up to a week before — is possible.

Upon collection, a security deposit is required. This is not part of the rental fee but serves as a guarantee for the gown:

For rental fees under 50 000 HUF: 10 000 HUF
For rental fees over 50 000 HUF: 30 000 HUF
For weddings abroad: 150 000 HUF
The full deposit is returned once the gown is brought back in perfect condition.

Gowns are typically returned on the Monday following the wedding, unless another date has been agreed upon in writing.
