Elite Bridal Salon Explores Bridal Fashion Trends for 2025
At the end of April, one of the world’s most prestigious bridal exhibitions took place in Barcelona, the Catalan capital and true hub of international wedding fashion. The event is designed for professionals of the bridal industry, journalists, designers, and—most importantly—bridal salon owners.

Elite Bridal Salon from Budapest visits international bridal exhibitions and fashion shows every year. Over the years, we have received invitations from the Italian Chamber of Commerce to exhibitions held in Lecce, Salerno, Bari, and Milan. Following the post-pandemic period, we were once again invited to Barcelona—an opportunity we gladly accepted.

Our goals were clear: to explore upcoming bridal trends, meet both long-standing and new partners in person, and place orders for our 2025 bridal collections.

The importance of the exhibition is reflected in its impressive numbers:

Around 23,000 visitors, including international fashion journalists, bloggers, and leading bridal professionals
37 designers presenting their upcoming collections on the runway
Continuous fashion shows broadcast on large screens throughout the venue
Attendance by world-renowned designers such as Gianbattista Valli, Eva Lendel, Jimmy Choo, Julia Kontogruni, Mariano Modena, and Claudio Di Mari
Over 400 bridal brands, 80% of them international, showcasing wedding gowns, evening wear, and groom collections
In short, everyone who matters in the bridal industry was there.

Key Bridal Trends for 2025
While bridal fashion may seem timeless at first glance, it evolves every year—introducing new cuts, materials, and design elements.

Fabrics & Materials
Alongside familiar favorites such as tulle, organza, and mikado, shimmering satin fabrics made a strong appearance in 2025 collections. Lace designs also showed fresh interpretations and innovative textures.

Sleeves Take Center Stage
One of the most noticeable changes is in sleeve design:

Tulle shoulder padding
Voluminous, puffed sleeves
Detachable sleeves worn directly on the arms
Off-the-shoulder styles making a strong comeback
These elements add drama, romance, and versatility to bridal looks.

Necklines & Silhouettes
While the classic V-neckline remains popular, designers introduced U-shaped necklines and even high-neck designs fastening at the front for a more modern, fashion-forward feel.
